Emma Pillsbury Trivial Pursuit - Question 1

It's hiatus time again, and we need something to keep us going until Glee returns with new episodes - and new outfits - in February.

How much do you know about Emma Pillsbury's clothes? Can you spot the two top buttons of a Jackie cardigan from a mile away? Do you stalk eBay on a daily basis for a pair of yellow and green PMJs in your size?

It's time for the fashion feats of strength!

How to Play:
For each trivia question, email your answer to me at emmapillsbury at gmail dot com. (Please do not leave your answer in the comments.)

Aaaand, that's pretty much it! I'll post a list of names and point totals with each new question, along with the correct answer from the previous one. At the end of the trivia contest, the three players with the highest score will receive a little gift from me. Ready? Okay!

Question 1: What do all four of these thumbnail pictures have in common?

Answers will be accepted until 6PM EST tomorrow!

Channeling Emma - Jenna Ushkowitz

The coat that launched a thousand OMGs:

appears on another Glee cast member. Did Jenna Ushkowitz raid the Emma Pillsbury section of the wardrobe trailer before a recent trip to London?

Unfortunately, this is what I refer to as an "Oh, girl, NO" look.

As in, "Oh, girl, NO, you did not just wear those beat up combat boots and that bag with a gorgeous Kate Spade coat!"

Love Jenna, but this look is not working!

Thanks to WWEPWer Sarah for the tip!

Would Emma Wear It? - Emma Pillsbury, Hairstyle Icon

Like a cat, Emma's hair has lived nearly nine lives in the last thirty-two episodes. We've seen her locks transform from the perfectly groomed beloved bang swoosh...

to loose and wavy...

to flat, but flippy.

Since Emma seems to be having a hair identity crisis, I'd like to offer a few suggestions.

Perhaps Emma should try an iconic hairstyle from the 1990s.

The Rachma? The Emchel?

If Emma and Carl decide to pop out eight kids, she's going to need a style that needs little to no maintenance each day.

If her hair is curly, she could always go au naturel.

If this guidance counseling thing doesn't work out, there's always reality television.

Then again, kicking it old school might suit her a bit more.

Emma seems to be breaking out of her shell more and more lately. A few tats are inevitable. She's going to need a hairstyle that matches her new, rebellious self.

On the other hand, Emma does have a retro vibe to her style.

Next to The Jazz Singer, I'm sure Star Wars is her favorite movie. Perhaps her hair should pay homage.

What say you, WWEPWers? What ideas for a new hairstyle do you think she should try next?

Emma Pillsbury Fashion ID - Vintage Dancer Brooch

Our resident expert outfit replicator, Kathleen, snapped up the vintage dancer pins Emma wore on her blue cardigan in "Special Education."

They're almost identical! Kathleen nabbed them in purple:

and this blue set Nicolle found on eBay recently sold for just $18!

A quick search for "vintage dancer brooch" should turn up another set soon!

Thanks for this great tip, Kathleen!

Emma Pillsbury Fashion ID - Tracy Reese Bow Chain Sweater

Nicolle stumbled on a blog, Good Gals Inc, which offered a very surprising revelation about this sweater worn by Emma Pillsbury in "Hello."

The bow-chain isn't separate at all! It's part of the sweater, by Tracy Reese. Kirby, you made my day!

Thanks for this great find, Nicolle!

Emma Pillsbury Fashion ID - Forever 21 Beaded Collar Blouse

I manage to ID quite a bit of Emma's wardrobe, but I'm always thrilled when readers find some especially tricky pieces. Case in point: my favorite of Emma's cardigans - the elusive red and white floral cardi from Sectionals.

A wonderful reader, Rachel W., found the ivory beaded-collar blouse worn under the taupe Jackie cardigan in "Grilled Cheesus."

It's from Forever 21, and here's a close-up of the beaded collar:

Thank you, Rachel!

No Pants Challenge - Gifts to Fill the Void

Certainly the Glee fan is no stranger to those dark weeks and months of TV hiatus. To fill the gaping hole in your chest typically occupied by pretty new Pillsbury clothes, I'm sure many of you are eagerly engaged in holiday activities. But at my house, after we get the Festivus pole out of the crawl space, there's really not much left to do. So I do the next best thing. Photoshopping Emma Pillsbury faces onto puppies and bunnies.

Also, I like to retreat to my McBealesque inner world and imagine what sort of gifts might show up at what is sure to be both the first and last (don't deny it) annual Pillsbury-Howell Christmas Eve Bash.

Let's face it. No one would dare buy Emma clothing because she trusts no one else to select her wardrobe. Can you guess which presents are from Will, Sue, Finn, and Rachel?

Happy Holidays, WWEPWers! Now if you'll excuse me, I've got some grievances to air before the feats of strength.

Congratulations, Lou Eyrich!

Lou Eyrich was honored last night at the Hollywood Style Awards for Outstanding Achievement in Costume Design in Television. Jayma Mays and Chris Colfer presented the award to Lou.

Love seeing Glee's best-dressed actors paying tribute to television's best designer.

Also on hand from Glee: Lea Michele, to present the award for Best Hair Stylist, and Cory Monteith, who received the award for Male Future Style Icon.

How fabulous is Lou, wearing another fabulous hat?

Congratulations to Lou for another well-deserved honor!
