I manage to ID quite a bit of Emma's wardrobe, but I'm always thrilled when readers find some especially tricky pieces. Case in point: my favorite of Emma's cardigans - the elusive red and white floral cardi from Sectionals.
A wonderful reader, Rachel W., found the ivory beaded-collar blouse worn under the taupe Jackie cardigan in "Grilled Cheesus."
It's from Forever 21, and here's a close-up of the beaded collar:
Thank you, Rachel!
Nicolle stumbled on a blog, Good Gals Inc, which offered a very surprising revelation about this sweater:
The bow-chain isn't separate at all! It's part of the sweater, by Tracy Reese. Kirby, you made my day!
Thanks for this great find, Nicolle!
And our resident expert outfit replicator, Kathleen, snapped up the dancer brooches from "Special Education" on eBay.
They're almost identical! Kathleen nabbed them in purple:
and this blue set Nicolle found on eBay recently sold for just $18!
A quick search for "vintage dancer brooch" should turn up another set soon!
Thanks for this great tip, Kathleen!

Those brooches look to me to be Trifari. Vintage Trifari costume jewelry, especially "jelly belly" styles, can be expensive, and these dancer pieces would be a bargain at $18!
Too bad the Tracey Reese is long vintage. It's so cute!
I so hate that these are unavailable. The Tracy Reese is one of my all-time favorites. I've replicated the look with a similar pleated collar-less blouse and a scoop-neck sweater with a vintage double pin attached to a chain, but it's just not the same. sigh.
