What Would Emma Wear? - The Fourth of July

To all who celebrate, Happy Independence Day! While we were enjoying a day with family and friends, I couldn't help but think about what Emma might wear to a Fourth of July picnic, or to see fireworks at the big park in Lima with Dr. Uncle Jesse.

What Would Emma Wear? - Snow Day

We're snowed in! Cars and sidewalks are buried under mountains of snow, which means there's only one thing left to do...shop for cute winter clothes! Of course, when it's this cold out, I'm left wondering what Emma would wear to keep warm and dry.

I've been trying, but I just can't picture Emma in a pair of pants. Cold weather like this would mean she'd have to keep her legs warm, but I think she'd pull on a pair of woolly cable-knit tights instead. And for going outside, a pretty long coat.

Something like this, perhaps, with a cute pair of Wellies to keep her feet dry.

And you just know it has to be mittens...attached to a little string to keep them from getting lost.

What Would Emma Wear? - Sick Day

Well, I'm sick. Sick sick sick. Which got me thinking about what Emma might wear when she's home sick. Not that she would ever get sick, mind you, what with all of the avoiding germs and antibacterial hand gel.

But IF she did, I think she'd wear something like this.

I'm choosing this Nanette Lepore Flores Sea Dress for Emma to wear to a holiday party. (Love the Sergio Rossi peep toe pumps on the model, too. Not too flashy, perfect for Emma.)
