Channeling Emma - Jamie

Back in April, I got the most awesome email from Glee enthusiast and fashionista Jamie. Here's what she had to say:
I wanted to write you a little note because for the past 3 or so months I have been ADDICTED to your site!!! I am a total Gleek and especially fond of both wardrobe styles of Emma and Rachel.I just wanted to thank you for putting together such a wonderful site (I get so excited when the few Rachel outfits are thrown in too)! My closet has become quite the Glee wardrobe area thanks to you!!!
Here's Jamie looking fantastic in an Emma-worthy purple blouse from Modcloth, which looks incredible with her beautiful dark hair and perfect creamy complexion.

Jamie added:
I want to tell you that I am a 32 yr old, wheelchair bound woman who loves clothes and jewelry and since I do not drive shopping is often few and far between. Because of my disability I can't always fit into the latest styles and trends. The clothes on both Emma and Rachel are not too revealing and work very well on my body! Their style is just classic.
Check out Jamie channeling her inner Rachel Berry and looking fabulous.

About a month after Jamie emailed me, she entered the Candy Shop Vintage necklace giveaway and won!
When I put my favorite piece (square rhinestone necklace) in to the contest I was hopeful, but was not getting my hopes up. I know how many girls just like me enter contests like this. To see that I won was a thrill.
WOO! I was just as thrilled to see that Jamie would be taking home that gorgeous pearl-and-jade necklace, because I knew it would look amazing on her. And it does.

Jamie described how she Pillsbury-styled the necklace. Perfect.
I wore it today with my very own Emma Pillsbury black-and-white Milly Striped Sweater. Actually I cheated and bought the more cost friendly Forever 21 version. :) Paired with my new necklace I feel like Emma herself.

Emma, indeed! I adore this combination. The necklace hangs at the perfect length on this sweater's neckline. And I know Teresa is going to give Jamie an A+ report card for her flawless makeup!

Jamie proves that classic looks can be young and fresh. I love the way she incorporates Rachel's whimsy and Emma's vintage chic into her own personal style. Thank you, Jamie, for sharing your style story with WWEPW! You're gorgeous!

Fabulous! I love how Jamie blends Emma and Rachel's styles.

I too would love to see more Channeling Emma posts like this. Perhaps after WWEPW Idol, we could work out a similar competition for real Channeling Emma outfits? That would encourage people to send in their pictures.

Love the outfits, Jamie! You look absolutely beautiful, and you're style would surely make Emma smile and earn gold stars from Rachel :)

And my apologies for just using the improper form of "your". It kills me when I see it used incorrectly and the grammar police officer in me is shaking her head. Tisk.

Yay, Jamie! I love the necklace and how you paired it with the striped sweater!

Callie- I am known as Captain Correcto. So, I feel you're pain. Just kidding. I feel your pain.

The necklace with the sweater is so Emma! I also like the sweater with little hearts, very whimsical in the Glee way!
