We may not have seen Emma, but there was plenty else to keep this girl happy.
GAGA.
BURT HUMMEL.
GAGA.
KISS.
OH, AND GAGA.
My girl Rachel from GleeHab tipped me off to this article on InStyle.com -
Glee's Costume Designer Dishes on Gaga Looks
Lou shares this tidbit: "“I have great respect for Lady Gaga,” she told us. “This episode is a tribute to her genius. The costumes are not replicas; we wanted it look like the kids made them." and much more about costuming New Directions a la Lady Gaga. It's a fascinating peek into her genius mind and her insane talent.
A HUGE "rah rah ah ah ah!" to Lou Eyrich for her incredible work!
Yay, Little Monsters! Little Monsters, hooray!

It was certainly an awesome episode.
I just loved Quinn's Gaga look, though everyone looked fantastic
Ab fab episode!
YAY!!!!! Loved Rachel's Beanie-baby tribute to Kermit dress, LOL!
Also, it's supposed to look like the kids made them?? WOW. When I was 16 I would have used masking tape and staples to put together a dress. The Glee kids are also excellent seamstresses! :P
I was thinking the same thing, Teresa! The only one I could've made myself is Rachel's stapled beanie baby dress :P
Kurt and possibly Mercedes are the only ones who I could actually see making their own costumes...
Quinn's was my favourite, but Rachel's first outfit was the funniest.
Brittany's my lobster.
Brittany was the perfect glee girl to don the Philip Treacy lobster hat! Every time they showed her, I couldn't stop cracking up.
Quinn's was my very favorite; it is my favorite Gaga look ever after all. And I couldn't help but be reminded of Hilda and Zelda's "galaxy opening" dresses from Sabrina the Teenage Witch.
Yes, I grew up in the nineties.

Also....
BURT HUMMEL.
Mike O'Malley, marry me. Right now.
Those look so hard to make! Wow! Probably they paid for someone to make them. Emma won't be in many episodes because Jayma is filming a movie.
Insanely amazing costumes. I can't even choose a favorite. Love Gaga, and wish Naya Rivera had the full lead on Bad Romance - she rocks at that song.
