How Would Emma Wear It? - Anthropologie Blouses

I've been eyeing three blouses from Anthropologie, and hoping they'll show up under one of Emma's colorful cardigans in a future episode.

Why wait, though? I'll just style them myself.

Draped Snail Tank Look

Anthro had an adorable navy and white plaid skirt by Maeve that would look faboo with this outfit, but alas, it's not online. I'm happy with this basket weave pencil skirt from J.Crew in its place. It also comes in green for a preppier look.

Anthropologie Draped Snail Tank - $128
J.Crew No. 2 Pencil Skirt in Basket Weave Tweed - $128
J.Crew Jackie Cardigan - $62
J.Crew Carnation Necklace - $98
J.Crew Skinny Patent Belt - $30
Kimchi Blue Wingtip Heel

Yellow and Olives

Ping pong paddles. I need to see Emma Pillsbury wearing ping pong paddles. I so loved seeing her in the monochromatic yellow again, I opted to style this blouse with a brighter version of the original.

Anthropologie Ping Pong Tank - $68
J.Crew No. 2 Pencil Skirt in Double Serge Wool - $120
J.Crew Cashmere Crewneck Cardigan - $90
J.Crew Skinny Patent Belt - $30
Kate Spade Flicker Melinda Bag - $260 (available in black)
Kate Spade Hang In There Pendant - $120
Kate Spade Cut To The Chase Bracelet - $70
J.Crew Penelope Mary Jane Pumps

Blue and Green

I don't care what anyone says, I love a good matchy-matchy look. I'd love to see this blouse reunited with the Nanette Lepore Tea Party Cardigan from Season 1, but this cashmere cardi from J.Crew would be just as great.

Anthropologie Wrap Around Blouse - $98
J.Crew No. 2 Pencil Skirt in Double Serge Cotton - $110
J.Crew Cashmere Crewneck Cardigan - $90
J.Crew Skinny Patent Belt - $30
Kate Spade Academy Stripe Larissa Bag - $325
Kate Spade Glossy Garden Bracelet - $148
Kate Spade Glossy Garden Earrings - $78
J.Crew Penelope Mary Jane Pumps

Ooooh I love all these looks!! I do! And reading the reviews of the fit of the draped snail tank I don't know what anyone else might be thinking but I'm thinking maternity wear lol! I say bring it on!!! Cute little Wemma babies *sigh*

Olives, though? I do believe those are ping pong paddles and ping pong balls lol. Which is all the better for Emma when you think about it because it's so much neater than having food all over your top :)

Regardless I would love to see her in all these looks...and yes I think she needs the bright yellow no. 2 and the blue jackie is so pretty.

Also I love love the mixed print version of the wrap around blouse. Emma should definitely add that to her closet :)

BAHAHAHAHA! Thanks, Tea! This is where I am showing my age - I can't tell ping pong paddles from olives.

I love the mixed print Wrap Around, too - such a great blouse.

Very nice. My favorite of these is definitely the first.

Ditto Danielle. I like the first blue combo the most.

On the side note, personally I think Michelle Obama's Tonight's show outfit actually reflects a bit of Emma. I wrote an blog entry about it: http://way-we-were.blogspot.com/

Emma and your blog made me start collecting jackies and other cardigans. I used to hate wearing them. Go figure. lol. Thank you for the nice work to put everything about Emma Pillsbury together.

Love love love the yellow. Every time Emma wears yellow, I get happy on her behalf. Not a lot of redheads can manage yellow...how does she do it?
