Would Emma Wear It? - Gold and Plaid

I've mentioned before that there are lots of parallels between Emma and Rachel, in personality and fashion. They're both quirky, spirited heroines. Each one's style perfectly reflects her character.

Every once in a while, I put together an outfit and am left thinking, "This doesn't feel so much like Emma." Sometimes I think a little Rachel Berry creeps in and makes herself known.

Let's hear what you think! Is this look more Emma or Rachel?

Love this blog :) I think the skirt is very Rachel but the rest is all Emma!

Yes I agree. The skirt is totally Rachel.

Definitely Rachel. Maybe if the skirt was a different shape it would be more Emma. but the pleats make it all Rachel!

Totally Rachel the length of the skirt and the darker colours make it something straight out of one of her costumes.

I think it's sort of a mishmash of both, but I definitely think that the skirt is Rachel. The necklace and blouse are Emma to a T!

Rachel. Even moreso if you used a dorkier sweater and some knee socks.

Rachel! :)

Hahahaha Sally! I love the word "dorkier." Going to use that as much as possible.

Plaid is more of a "Rachel" thing. The shoes are totally Rachel. It would be "Emma" if the skirt was brighter and the shoes were heels.

I think the skirt makes it Rachel. The necklace is more Emma, though.

the skirt is too short for Emma.

Short skirt = Rachel.

totally Rachel. She would probably wear mustard tights with it...

Rachel, definitely. The skirt is too short and I can't imagine Emma ever wearing flats. :)
