Would Emma Wear It? - Dresses

Emma doesn't wear dresses very often. We've seen her in the Nanette Lepore Sunny Day Dress and...that's about it. Although Emma is all about the separates, I don't see why we shouldn't see her in dresses more often, with cute cardis draped over her shoulders and excellent jewelry.

I can see how this type of look could end up making her look more "Mad Men" than she should, but I'd love to see Lou Eyrich expertly "dress" Emma.

I would love to see her in more dresses! I've actually said that to my friend before. It's funny because she totally seems like a dress person yet she never really wears them. Some bright Lilly Pulitzer would be adorable and so Emma!

I LOVE the coral one she wore for that one episode! If she does wear dresses, the costume designer has to be careful it stays more modern and less 60s. I am still a fan of her in the separates. Very cute and very inspiring!

Elissa, my thoughts exactly. If anyone can pull off retro-modern dresses for Emma, it's Lou Eyrich!

I would love to see her in more dresses, and I would also love to see her in stuff that show off her arms and shoulders. I love that second dress. Super cute!

I see the third one on her, in a heartbeat. :) Glee, are you watching these polyvores???

I agree, the third one sticks out to me! Its so vintage chic! And the coral would look lovely on Emma. I dont think it's too Mad Men, Emma usually wears vintage inspired looks that have a modern twist, I love it!

I can totally see Emma in all three dresses. :D
I especially like the last one -- the color is so fitting.

BTW, I just ran across Emma's red Marc by Marc Jacobs coat on eBay (item #170437556381):

I love the last one, with the coral colored dress. the others are great, and I would totally wear the first one myself, but I can't see Emma in darker colors. I hope the costumers from Glee are reading your blog!
