Emma Pillsbury Fashion ID - The Purple Piano Project

And we're off!

Let's start out with the Pajama Palooza that was going on throughout the episode.

Think she labels her nighties for every day of the week?

Okay. Having your girlfriend pack your adult lunch in an old school metal superhero lunchbox. Cool or emasculating? Discuss.

Also, I thought old school metal lunchboxes were for annoying hipsters and/or old folks like me who collect them to recapture our fading youth.

At least she looked good while bagging cookies. No, that's not a euphemism. Will made that pretty clear.

J. Crew Wool Boucle Pencil Skirt in Rosebud (2009) - no longer available
available in two sizes at ridiculous prices on eBay

Marc by Marc Jacobs Kristi Tie Top - $278
(Thanks, Alice!)

Loving. The. Hair.

Nice to see you again, Betsey Johnson Bow Earrings.

WWEPWers. I want to glitterbomb someone SO badly. WHO CAN I GLITTERBOMB? WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO?

Brooks Brothers Lemon Print Skirt - no longer available
(Thanks, Kat!)

Moth Cardigan from Anthropologie (with buttons changed) - no longer available
(Thanks, Lily!)

Pear Earrings. Only Emma could get away with such cutesy jewelry as an adult. They're balanced by this:

Kate Spade Cut to the Chase Bracelet - (worn singly) $57.90 (on sale!)
(Thanks, Danielle!)

A new monochromatic yellow outfit. I'm thinking that the return of this color scheme from Season 1 is symbolic of the return of witty writing on Glee. With Michael Hitchcock and Marti Noxon behind the wheel as consulting producers, I have faith.

Loving the buttons on the skirt.

Anthropologie Lundin Links Sweater - no longer available
(Thanks, Danielle!)

These outfits bode well for a great season. What did you think?

the nighties are so very Betty Draper. Fun.

I hope that it's not emasculating. Otherwise I need to apoligize to my husband (also a teacher) as he takes his lunch to work in his A-team and He-Man lunchboxes.

I must find the yellow nightie. This is not an optional moment in my life. I *must* find it.

Also, I'm fairly certain the white bracelet worn with the green sweater and lemon skirt is this one by Kate Spade: http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/kate-spade-new-york-cut-to-the-chase-stretch-bracelets-set-of-2/3199511?cm_cat=datafeed&cm_ite=kate_spade_new_york_'cut_to_the_chase'_stretch_bracelets_(set_of_2):375056&cm_pla=jewelry:women:bracelet&cm_ven=Linkshare&siteId=Hy3bqNL2jtQ-T4TgmM7_dqKim6m3AVsAhQ

Yaaay for the return of Glee and the return of Emma! She looked most adorable in that MBMJ top. And I loved the yellow monochrome as well :)

BTW, you may have already caught it, but I sighted Emma in the Anthropologie Wrap Around Blouse in the previews for next week! :)

I definitely think all the nighties NEED to be found!! Love the lemon print skirt too! I think that's my favourite non-nightie outfit so far :)

I bet they're vintage nighties... I have quite a few (I collect vintage lingerie) that look incredibly similar (different colors, but the same general romantic feel)

I maybe thought the lemon skirt was one Lou had made out of this fabric: http://www.ebay.com/itm/ALEXANDER-HENRY-JUICY-Lemon-fabric-yard-/120736005574?_trksid=p4340.m185&_trkparms=algo%3DSIC.NPJS%26its%3DI%26itu%3DUA%26otn%3D5%26pmod%3D310293737702%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D2947132385994271432

It looks like a simple skirt so get out your sewing machines!

I love her hair too, it's similar to how I wear my hair. :)

The lemon skirt...you can buy that fabric in the quilt fabric section of Joann's. I know this because I made a dress for my daughter out of it :)
