Swap & Shop

Our first foray into the Swap & Shop realm was successful, but short-lived. A wonderful reader, Kate, sent me a great suggestion to modify the Swap & Shop into more of a reader-driven marketplace. Let's give it a try!

What's a Swap & Shop?
A Swap & Shop is a place where WWEPWers can come together to buy, sell, or trade clothes and accessories (or even home goods) with each other. These can be "actual" Emma Pillsbury clothes that we've seen on the show, or Emma-inspired pieces. Etsy sellers are very welcome to utilize this feature to showcase a handmade or vintage item that you think WWEPWers might like!

How do I participate?
If you have something to sell or trade, you can leave a comment here with your information. Please include the following:
  • The name of the item.
  • A picture of the item, or a link to a picture of the item.
  • A description of the item (color, size, condition).
  • The asking price of the item, or any trade terms you are willing to negotiate.
  • An email address where interested WWEPWers can contact you.
If you are looking to buy or have something to trade, you can:
  • Contact a seller directly via email to negotiate a sale or a trade.
  • Leave a comment under a Swap & Shop post telling us what you are looking for.
When will Swap & Shops be posted?
Swap & Shops will be posted weekly. You can keep checking back for new listings or requests, or the comment window offers the option to have comments emailed directly to you.

WWEPW Guidelines
  • WWEPWers are awesome, so the Swap & Shop operates on the honor system. I will have no involvement in any of the transactions. Buy/sell/trade occurs independently, not through me.
  • The Swap & Shop is not affiliated with any retail stores or eBay sellers.
  • The Swap & Shop is intended to be a place for WWEPWers to buy/sell/trade with one another. I reserve the right to remove or delete any listing or comment at my discretion.
  • If you have a positive buy/sell/trade experience, let me know. If you have a negative buy/sell/trade experience, let me know.

Remember, if you have any questions at all, don't hesitate to ask me. Here's to helping one another refresh, renew, and expand our wardrobes!

Emma Pillsbury Fashion ID - Green Beaded Necklace with White Flower

A fabulous find by Kathleen - all this time, we've been operating under the belief that Emma's green beaded necklace with the white flower from Showmance was from Target. It's not!

Beaded Floral Necklace from Anthropologie - no longer available

You can, however, find it on eBay! (The lovely seller supplied me with a large version of the photo you see above.)

Beaded Floral Necklace in Green - starting bid $35.99
Beaded Floral Necklace in Coral - starting bid $29.99

Thanks for the find, Kathleen!

Emma's Closet

A Glee hiatus can mean only one thing - fun and games on WWEPW! From WWEPW Idol to trivia contests to the Countdown Fashion Challenge to my favorite - The Ultimate Outfit Tournament (yes, we will have one at the end of season 2!) - our hiatus-fillers are often imitated, but never duplicated.

Thanks to a suggestion from my friend The Possessionista, this hiatus will be no different.

Your task: To create new outfits for Emma Pillsbury using only the clothes from her wardrobe. I've selected 100 of her best pieces and imported them into this nifty little Polyvore collection. All you have to do is play dress-up with Emma Pillsbury's clothes.

Emma's Closet
- A Collection on Polyvore

Save every outfit you create into the "Emma's Closet" group on Polyvore, and I'll post your creations weekly (or more, depending on how many you make!) until Glee returns. Make as many as you want, as often as you want.

I can't see what you come up with!
