Emma Pillsbury Style - Get The Look - Blue and Gold

Maybe finding this outfit back in April made me a little lazy. Well, no more of that!

The Clinging Blossoms Cardigan is a bit difficult to find these days, but that doesn't mean we're out of luck. Emma's outfit is all about the classic blue and yellow combo, and there are plenty of great pieces out there right now in those hues. Check out these mix-and-match outfits!

Splurge on these pieces:

DKNY Double-Layered Cardigan - $195
Kate Spade Beeline Billie Cardigan - $265
Leifsdottir Vintage Dots Skirt - $198
J.Crew Super 120s Pinstripe High Pencil Skirt - $128

Moderately priced:

Talbots Ruffled Cardigan - $49.99
Anne Klein Button-Front Shirt - $59
J.Crew Canterbury Bells Cardigan - $88
Anthropologie Alena Skirt - $49.95
Anthropologie Circle The Globe Skirt - $68

On a budget? No problem!

Forever 21 Picture Perfect Cardigan - $22.90
J.Crew Painter Cardigan - $39.99
Old Navy Cap Sleeve Button Front Shirt - $15
Forever 21 Cultured Woven Skirt - $19.80
Forever 21 Belted Pleats Skirt - $17.80

Yay, blue and yellow! Blue and yellow, hooray!

I really love the combo of blue and yellow, probably because it's my alma mater's colors. And it makes me think Emma is a Bruin! WOOT!

That Kate Spade cardigan is too cute for words!

I wish that vintage dots skirt wasn't so expensive, I love the shape of it!

And I might also wish it was a different color because, unlike our girl, I cannot pull off yellow.

I almost got that Clinging Blossoms cardigan, but it didn't like my boobs. :( Too bad, it was even cuter in person!

Great finds, Danielle, as always!

P.S. Teresa, blue and gold were my elementary school colors, ha!

I really loved this outfit. Definitely one of my favourite Emma numbers, and there are so many!

Some really nice pieces here! I LOVE these colours together.

you're going to make me buy blue aren't you? AREN'T YOU?!
i have discovered i can wear yellow, and have started hunting for my own insane yellow blouse, so maybe i'll need a navy cardigan to go with that. which then needs a matching skirt...
I think you and Emma Pillsbury have finally broken me of my all-black-and-grey streak. with *yellow*

I count myself lucky that I snagged the original sweater when first featured on your site. Thank you thank you THANK you!!!

My husband, however, is thinking he'll need to ban me from WWEPW forever due to my addiction to be as Emma as possible.

OOOH! I lovelovelove the Anthropologie Alena Skirt. It looks fun to spin around in.

You know, when you spin around and your skirt goes all poofy and it makes you feel all romantic. Then dizzy. Then nauseous.

There's a blog called Presser Foot that made a copycat version of that sweater and shows you step by step directions on how to make your own. The link to the beginning of the project is

Not quite as nice as buying it at the store, but it looks pretty cute!
