Emma Pillsbury Style - Get The Look - Bow Blouse

As many of you already know, the original Insane Yellow Blouse is this Alice & Olivia Bridgett Blouse:

It was for sale at Neiman Marcus for a while, but now that we're into the winter season, it's out of stock. Emma originally wore it in Vitamin D with the J.Crew Bow Skirt in robin's egg blue, and again in Mattress with the J.Crew Floral Watercolor Skirt.

Our Emma loves bows, and I think she would look smashing in this skirt, which the fabulous Kimmy introduced me to not too long ago. (Thanks, Kimmy!)

Marc Jacobs Bow Skirt at Neiman Marcus $179

For more bows, check out the Explosion of Bows sets I've created.

Hopefully they're not too insane.

I am obsessed with bows (though perhaps not enough to wear the Insane blouse ;) ), so this post totally made my day! That MJ bow skirt is to die for (would it be overkill though if I already had the original J.Crew skirt?), and I am newly smitten with that Ann Taylor bow cardi which I somehow managed to overlook before. My favorite bow item by the way is this In God We Trust bow cuff in red -- it is a subtle way to work a bow into any outfit ;)

I am also obsessed with bows! They are so adorable! I love the forever 21 skirt, cute and affordable!I also love the kate spade top, I have been so impressed with her fall collection, I want everything!

Yay for bows! :D

The featured Kate Spade items are all on sale right now, plus an additional 25% off (shows up when you add the item to your cart).

I know we're all sad that the yellow Alice+Olivia blouse is gone, but I did run across 2008's Juicy Couture Bow Placket Blouse on Bluefly for $106.25 (extra 15% off today).
They only have the yellow in size 10, but they also have white w/ gold thread in sizes 0-8. (Also to note, as the blouse is silk and cotton, it can always be dyed whatever color you wish... ;)

Despite the jersey back piece, I believe the blouse is quite Emma-worthy. :)
